The head is completely off in the delightful Pro League nine days. After the resounding first weekend, we look forward to the duels to come. We start Wednesday and Thursday with two doubles matches. All duels can be seen via the NOS channels. For the ins and outs you can of course visit field hockey.nl and Oranjehockey.
After the double victories over India and Australia, the Dutch men’s and women’s hockey trains will continue their hard work on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday you can switch on at 5:30 p.m. for the women’s match Netherlands-Spain. This is followed by the friendly match between the men of the Netherlands and Ireland. The return of both duels will follow on Thursday at the same time (and location). All four matches can be followed live via the stream on NOS.nl, in the NOS app and via the NOS Live app. The latter stream can be found for Ziggo customers on channel 160.
The final weekend provides a spectacular finale to this Pro League block. Saturday, the ladies take on China at 1:30 p.m., while the men take on Argentina at 4 p.m.. Sunday will see the returns of both games at the same times. In any case, these duels can be followed via the livestream, with the possibility of partial live broadcast on NPO1. One thing is certain: the Wagener Stadium will be filled to the brim on Sunday: tickets for the day are sold out.

Extensive coverage by field hockey.nl
Field hockey.nl’s reporters will be present at Wagener Stadium during all games to keep fans informed with liveblogs, extensive match reports and post-match interviews with players and staff. You won’t have to miss a moment of the action via OrangeHockey’s Instagram account either!
The Orange Men have to do without Duco Telgenkamp. The striker, who shot Orange to Olympic gold in Paris, will not play in the Pro League in the coming weeks and also already knows that he will miss the European Championship. For personal reasons, the 29-time Kampong international is missing from both events. Kampong teammate Jonas de Geus is also missing from the Pro League squad. The midfielder does train with the Orange as part of his recovery from his injury. On Saturday, Miles Bukkens had to give up the fight. The unfortunate striker of Pinoké suffered a knee injury, so his Pro League is over.
The women’s squad features four ‘new’ faces: Pam van der Laan (Pinoké), Danique van der Veerdonk (Den Bosch), Maud van den Heuvel and Jip Dicke (both SCHC). Van der Laan played her third international on Saturday, after two appearances as a substitute in 2022. Van der Veerdonk, Van den Heuvel and Dicke all made their debuts Sunday in the second encounter against Australia.
